This beer was made in collaboration with our colleagues down the street at Blue Tractor. Our choice of Michigan grains (Pilot 2-Row and wheat), Hops, (Churchkey Cascade and Nugget) and beets (also Michigan) are very similar. We fermented each beer with the same French Saison yeast.
Our version of FoolBrew starts with a peppery, yeasty and citrusy aroma that gives way to hop infused spiciness and funky, yeasty fruit flavors (with a hint of beet flavor). It finishes with a drying, tart, dry bitterness.
