It depicts one of Stone's most iconic beers and is inspired by the Imperial Stout Mexican Cake. It is made with the addition of cocoa, coffee, vanilla, Pasilla peppers, cinnamon and nutmeg. Aroma rich in roasts, cocoa, coffee, dark chocolate, spicy and spicy fragrances. Light carbonation, medium-thick consistency. Soft, smooth and quite dense on the palate, it reveals an intense flavor that recalls the warm notes perceived on the nose, followed by a moderate bitterness. Sweet and sugary aftertaste, characterized by a persistent spicy note of chilli. "Produced for the first time in 2014 in collaboration with the Mexican brewery Cerveceria Insurgente and with the homebrewer of San Diego Chris Banker, after his recipe was named the winner of our annual homebrew competition, it was an instant hit and fans started clamoring for his return. Seeing as its incredible flavor profile evokes Mexican hot chocolate, with coffee, Pasilla peppers, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and a generous amount of chocolate, we concluded that it was the perfect dark beer to republish to celebrate the Christmas holidays and all winter season".
