As we continue our efforts to produce drinkable yet flavorful beers, we decided to dive into the area of fruited beers. This brew starts as a Belgian-Style Farmhouse Ale traditionally brewed for the farm workers in Europe. We decided the base beer, although already citrusy and peppery, can be fortified with a little something extra so we added blood orange puree during the fermentation process giving the final product some extra citrus notes when tasting it.
