This California Strong Ale was first brewed in 1986 and gained notoriety appearing in Newsweek Magazine. Brewed with a variety of hops from Tasmania, Australia, and Washington state, it has a smooth malt character with a hint of sweetness and a fruity aroma. A favorite at the Hayward Brewery.
