THE GOLDEN AGE OF ALE
Inspired by tantalising Harvest Gold Ales of the 19th Century popular around Ireland at the time, especially in Kilkenny, the home of Irish Craft Brewing.

BREWING
Honoring centuries of tradition, this ale is infusion mashed, kettle hopped, top fermented and
brewery conditioned using Sullivan's Ale yeast. The First Gold hop is a carefully selected hedgerow variety with the traditional noble character of Goldings, but with extra resin.

ABOUT FIRST GOLD (UK):
A hedgerow descendant of the celebrated English heritage hop Goldings. First Gold contributes classic ale aroma - but with extra resin for particularly clean bitterness. Hop lovers describe it as smooth, with tangerine, orange marmalade, apricot, geranium and magnolia.
