The autumn beer par excellence, on a dubbel basis, 5.8% has a beautiful coppery color, slightly opalescent and captivating, a fairly persistent creamy foam. The scent is so delicate that it integrates very well with the malty background. Fruity notes also come to the surface, of ripe red fruit. The body is round and balanced, the taste tends to be round, soft, like that of a good Belgian. The finish is sufficiently long, with a slightly hopped aftertaste that is appreciable and does not interfere with the malty notes that give the typical roundness and softness of this beer that is considered an icon of the category.
