The initial brewing process with Krausened Lager is the same as with Budweiser Budvar Lager. The difference lies in the fact that before racking into kegs, a new brewing yeast culture in its best form is added into the ready beer (so-called “rings”) as well as a new portion of extract thus enabling another stage of final fermentation to take place in the kegs. This provides the beer with different sensory and biological qualities as opposed to the traditional lager.
