History tells us that the Vikings drank Old Danish Braggot called Mjønsøl at festive occasions as a special treat for kings. A blend of Ørbæk beer and GI Dansk Mjød. Old Danish Bragoot is based on a 18th century's recipe and is brewed according to old Danish traditions by Dansk Mjod A/S in collaboration with Ørbæk Bryggeri. The strong ale (7% alc/vol) is blended with GI Dansk Mjod (19% alc/vol) made with hop and ginger. Ratio: 60% beer, 40% mead. Old Danish Braggot is best served chilled at 42-44F.
