The Perturbation series starts with a complex malt bill, water treatment, and a fermentation that we consider at "Equilibrium" and makes a simple change or "Perturbation" to the beer to investigate the impact to the drinking experience. For Perturbation Citra, we shifted all the hops to Citra. We taste bright tropical passion fruit, mango, pineapple, lychee, and a touch of sweet that is balanced by a smooth bitterness and round mouthfeel. The aroma mirrors the taste, allowing the interplay of citra and a well-balanced beer to be enjoyed.
