This iteration of LACTOBAC is modeled after Biere de Garde, a French style traditionally brewed for the colder months. We've added elements of acidity and funk via our house mixed culture blend, but the maltiness and warmth from the original remains. Intensively decoction-mashed to provide toasty, round, bready flavors that temper the acidity of the beer.
