The Saison was the first beer of the brewery. Saison is a blonde beer brewed according to the ancient Saison tradition of the province of Hainaut. The French sounding name of the beer clearly refers to this. Saison d' Erpe-Mere is brewed exclusively with natural ingredients: artesian water, barley and wheat malts, liquid sugar, hops and yeast.
