Fresh, zesty notes of feijoa, guava and pineapple, with soft apple cider background. Medium. <br /><br /> Although native to South America, the Feijoa (or Pineapple Guava) has become an iconic New Zealand fruit. It has to be picked very ripe (best is freshly fallen fruit) for the acids to mellow and the full fruit characteristics to come through. Our fruit is bought direct from a local grower and pressed using a traditional rack and cloth press. Feijoa is best blended with a soft, but robust cider, and is enhanced by tannins and depth of real cider apples.
