We based this recipe on a traditional, 14th century Polish beer style known as "Grodziskie." Grodziskie is a low-gravity, golden wheat ale with a restrained noble hop character and a characteristic oak smoke aroma and flavor. Our good friends at Iron Smoke Distillery were kind enough to fire up their smoker to help us produce the perfect wheat malt for this brew and the resulting beer is a refreshing example of a historic style.
