Berliner Pilsner is the symbolic beer of the city of Berlin produced by the Schultheiss-Brauerei brewery, since 1842. It is not for nothing that the city mascot is depicted on the label, a tender red bear named Berlin Buddy Bear. A recipe of great success, so much so that it is still on the crest of the wave after almost 200 years and still today is the best-selling beer in the capital. The aroma is delicate and lightly equipped with bread, hay, cereals, acacia honey. The spicy (star anise) and herbaceous notes are more subdued. The first sip is satisfying, pleasant and comforting at the same time. This Berliner Pilsner is to be drunk with pleasure. There is everything you would expect from a beer of the style: neutral yeast profile, balanced malts and hops, pronounced bitterness and dry finish.
