One of the most intriguing of all Aussie brewed beers released last year was Seven Sheds' Bass Strait IPA. Brewer Willie Simpson teamed up with the Spirit of Tasmania to stow away a couple of wooden casks containing an IPA brewed with beers from his own hop farm on one of their ferries. They travelled the equivalent distance of the original IPAs from the UK to India before being taken off the boat and bottled.
