The first release in our "In the Spirit" Barrel-Aged Series, Haunted Barrel is an imperial porter brewed with coconut, aged in Rum and Bourbon barrels for six months. We added cocoa, vanilla, and cinnamon to the aging beer to create the ultimate adult trick-or-treat beer! We also created a special variant called Haunted Hazelnut that was aged only on Rum with hazelnut and cocoa added. A limited quantity of bottles of Haunted Barrel and Haunted Hazelnut were released on October 28, 2017.
