Come from Thisted Brewery in 1989 after seven years of experimentation. The name comes from the Urban Brewery in Aalborg, where brewmaster at Thisted Brewery in the late 70s "hit its folds." Here he was first "taste" of provincial life and this particular type of beer, often in Thisted auspices known as the beer gentleman. <br /><br />The name was bought by Urban Brewery closure in 1986. Limfjords-porter "revolved" brewmaster on until 1997, after which he no longer believed to improve the product. The right mix of malt was obtained. Unusual ingredients include smoked malt and English liquorice, which together give a flavor balance at a slightly higher level than usually seen. Brew Master's personal favorite and "darling".
