Following a brief stint at the JD Wetherspoon International Beer Festival a couple weeks ago, Mikkel Borg BjergsO from Mikkeller hopped on board another flight late last week, this time heading overseas back to Munster, Indiana. There he met met up with Nick Floyd and Co. from Three Floyds Brewing, and the pair worked on their second beer together, Havregoop. 'Havre' means 'oat' in Danish and 'goop' is, well, American.

This will be an oatwine like the first collaboration between the breweries, Hvedegoop, and FFF's own Fantabulous Resplendence, its anniversary ale. Hvedegoop scored favorable reviews with beer people after its Dark Lord Day release. There is still some left at the brewery - aging in a barrel or two (likely that it is more for the locals' enjoyment than anything that will see bottles- could be wrong).
