This fruity beer is derived from a mixture of young Lambic (6-12 months) and cherries. The juice of the cherries, combining sweetness and acidity, give the beer its unique taste. Its color is intense, with a bright, warm cherry-red color. On the nose, the first impression is vivid and fresh but soon, the Lambic flavors are subtly enhanced by those luscious cherries. The typical first discreet taste of cherries is well-rounded. This is a refreshing, slightly sweet, and well balanced Kriek.
