D'Tango Unchained is a Belgian Style Dark Ale with Cherries aged in bourbon barrels with Brett Lambicus. Aroma consists of subtle banana, tart cherry soft vanilla and oak with a surprising fruitiness alongisde a touch of Bretty Barnyard funk. Tasting yields nice tart cherry and lingering malty flavors that finish dry with a touch of oak tannin and funk. Not overly sweet but very fruity from the large dose of cherries Weyerbacher put in the barrel. Appears deep amber with ruby highlights.
