cropped-ALK_SOLOARTIGIANALE.jpgThe brewery Alkimia is the brainchild of two childhood friends: one fan of beers, the other wine (producing at levels of great excellence with the winery Masseria Frattasi) , a scholar of esotericism and religions, the other history. Both linked to its peasant origins and their own land, the caudino Sannio. Why not merge their passions in an alchemical process? Alchemy basically consists of mixing secret ingredients, simmer according wise recipes, wait until it accomplishes the miracle of transformation of lead into gold. A process that closely resembles the production of beer, with the addition of the mysterious work of the yeast that transforms the "simple" water in "sacred" tasty and refreshing drink. The brewery Alkima born in the shadow of the Taburno, and wants to attach to the territory by producing mountain beers. The first crushes were inspired by the traditional Belgian beers: saison, blanche, golden, strong ale, with the contribution of all Italian bergamot, coriander, orange peel and pepper. To these were added two typical British beers: India pale ale and stout, ammostata with the addition of mountain honey. The next dream? A beer made entirely from raw materials produced in the Sannio: from barley malt, wheat, hops and to other local flavors.
