We are a brand new beer firm, ( est. February 2015 ) from Cori, Latina province, Italy. Our mission is to bring our homeland into a glass of beer, trying to do it with love, dedication and enthusiasm! We are my wife Angela, our good friend Eleonora and myself, Ivan. We found some of the best products that our homeland has to offer ( saffron, honey and bread ) and shared our ideas with our brewmaster and the researchers of the University of Perugia, Italy, to find the best way to use that ( and we think they do it! ).
To start, we choose to make two belgian style ales :
A saison style ale, using our artisanal bread in the worth, a dry, crisp and refreshing ale, with a surprising drinkability and a pleasant final bread flavor ( 6.5% v/v).
A saffron belgian strong ale, using thorntree honey, spices and the autochthonous saffron stigmas, a aromathic, complex , well balanced and warm ( 7.7%) ale, with spicy, fruity and caramel/honey smells and flavors, Saffron is recognizable but not intrusive.
