In the beginning was the darkness - a seductive darkness in which the origin of all things found their own way. Nigredo is the meeting point where the elements come together; where research becomes harmony, vital spark, courage. Born from the evolution of a historic beer of BI, the Negra. Fermented in low, hopped in the manner and the typical amounts of a Dark IPA, but using only German hops, including above all the Hallertauer Mittelfrüh. This is not enough to explain the intense and wonderful aromas of noble hops that this beer gives off. In fact Nigredo has a secret: the hops used has been previously subjected to a roasting process that makes it a unique flavor profile. It is a hitherto unknown practice in the brewing world and was born in Alchemy Workshop of Limido Comasco, thanks to the continuous curiosity and desire to experiment that move us. Nigredo is the Work of the alchemists to Black, the first stage of the alchemical process. Inrealtà alchemy was not only the proto-chemistry, but also a spiritual quest. So Nigredo is the process in which we head towards the discovery of self-knowledge. Original Extract: 17º Alcohol content: 6.5% Color: Black impenetrable, with hazelnut and ruby highlights. From imposing foam hat, off-white and mottled chestnut veins emanates a freshness of hops balsamic and herbaceous forcefully. The drunk brings together the hop hints at a surprisingly slim body played on a typically German sentiment, however, combined with notes of ground coffee characteristics, dandelion, mass of pure cocoa and wheat burned that make Nigredo an experiment fully successful; the act of transformation itself, the Phoenix that overcomes the world.
