When he first launched Spoiler Alert under the stylings of BrewCult v1, Hendo said he was aiming to create a straight down the line Euro lager – pretty much the sort of thing no one would really expect from him and the sort of beer there wasn't too much of within the local craft beer world. It didn't really hit the mark, with a too high, somewhat astringent bitterness for the style. So the beer was shelved for a while. But no more.
