Ettaler Kloster Dunkel is a dark export beer. It is therefore very palatable, and wholesome. This recent, dark beer is characterized by an excellent aftertaste. A slight hop note rounds out this export, and gives it a special character.<br /><br />Original gravity: 12.3%<br />Alcohol: 5.5% vol.<br /><br />Demonstrated that for the 16th Century, Benedictine monks brew of Ettal their acclaimed cuisine. Using fine malt and hops from Bavaria growing areas are brewed with crystal-clear and pure waters of the Ammer Mountains, according to the Bavarian purity law specialty beers.
