Our dark Doppelbock is characterized by a hearty full-bodied, pleasant bitter aftertaste and a soft decaying. He has a strong color, and a pleasant sparkle. The fine carbon dioxide and the high original gravity gives an almost creamy experience.<br /><br />Original gravity: 18.3%<br />Alcohol: 7.0% vol.<br /><br />Demonstrated that for the 16th Century, Benedictine monks brew of Ettal their acclaimed cuisine. Using fine malt and hops from Bavaria growing areas are brewed with crystal-clear and pure waters of the Ammer Mountains, according to the Bavarian purity law specialty beers.
