The brewery inn Krug is located in the Franconian Switzerland on the old trade route between Nuremberg and Bayreuth. Since 1834 the family Krug follows the brewing trade. Three generations live and work in the traditional brewery Krug under one roof. A family business, which does not advertise large, now distributes its beer throughout Germany. In the meantime the friends of our cultivated brewing art are also to be found in Denmark, Italy and Russia. Check our dealer list to find out where to buy our beer. Brewery owner Konrad Krug, whom everyone calls simply "Conny", has acquired an almost legendary reputation in the region with his dark lager beer and hearty snacks. His wife and two daughters are actively helping Conny. The beer is brewed in a two-mixing process and brought to full maturity by long storage - at least 4 weeks.
