The Salone delle Fontane, located in the center of the Eur, covers an area of over 2,000 square meters and is one of the most representative locations in the receptive panorama of the Capital. An area where you can organize conventions, meetings and exhibitions. The scenicly enriched entrance with fountains decorated with mosaics, granite staircases, colonnades and well-groomed gardens, introduces this monumental architecture work by architect Gaetano Minnucci in the early 1940s at the Universal Exhibition scheduled for 1942 as an expression of Italian Rationalism, current architecture which developed in Italy in the twenties and thirty of the twentieth century In conjunction with the International Modern Movement , following the principles of functionalism , continued in various ways until the 1970s.
