American Style Lager
American Style Lagers are straw to gold.
Chill haze should not be perceived. Light fruity-ester aroma is acceptable. Hop aroma is not perceived to very low. Malt sweetness is very low to low. Hop flavor is not perceived to very low. Hop bitterness is not perceived to very low. Corn, rice, or other grain or sugar adjuncts often used. American Lagers are very clean and crisp, and aggressively carbonated. Light fruity-ester flavor is acceptable. Diacetyl should be absent. Body is low.
