We chose to blend our base Imperial Stout recipe with a Bourbon barrel-aged Language of Thunder. We then rested the beer blend on 200 pounds or freshly chopped and toasted hazelnuts and cocoa nibs. This beer drinks like your favorite Nutella with a backbone of barrel-aged flavors: Bourbon, oak, and vanilla, for a decadent and savory treat. We find that it pairs perfectly with campfires, worn quilts, and the people that you love!
