Life is full of tough decisions. One of the brewery's late 2017 was whether or not to attempt to redefine, or augment, what a Pilsner can be. With all the unfiltered, crazy dry-hopping going on around the country, seemed only right that Wolverine do something outside of the box. Decisions are Hard uses a fundamental German Pils recipe but uses Flaked Oats to soften the body of the beer, and a dreamy and creamy haze. The standout aspect of this lager is the hopping. Using two often difficult to find hops, Callista and Arianna, DAH has a much subtler bitterness, fruitier hop flavor, and a profound herbally, dank aroma that is a wholly unique from typical German Noble hops. However, it still screams of the old world hops. Decisions are Hard is undoubtedly a new style of beer. However, once you try it, the decision to have one, is a no-brainer.
