The history of Barbière starts in Belgium, where Rubén, our brewmaster, spent two years leaving a beard and investigating as a biologist. But he did not find the inspiration in the laboratories, but in his walks by bars, supermarkets and abbeys. Thanks to these outings, he even tried up to 400 different beers. During his visits to Spain, he carried the suitcases of bottles. Unknowingly, he had begun to import beer culture. But when he was finally back, bearded and happy, The stocks began to wear out, and without the possibility of savoring a good Belgian beer, he opted for the most radical option: to elaborate it himself. That friends like their beer, can be expected. But to receive very good reviews of professional and expert tasters, it's hard to think. So much so that Rubén went from the mime of the first barrels and the cultivation of own yeasts to become all a nomadic brewer with a production of Barbière to a considerable scale.
