Guns & Oil Beer originated, like all businesses, as a dream. Our founder, Cary Prewitt, noticed there was a disconnect between mainstream beer drinkers and the quality of the great tasting craft beers he enjoys. He wanted the best of both worlds, so he set out to create a premium quality beer that is also great for drinking. A couple of years, blood, sweat, and tears later Guns & Oil Beer is enjoyed in many dance halls, sports arenas, camping trips and family gatherings across the country.

I wanted a beer that represented the Great American Values. A beer that you could go drink after working your ass off, and drink a few of. Lagers are the Great American Beer. So we decided to make a throwback lager, the way they used to be made. Pre prohibition style.

Honestly promoting our values. Finding ways to help people. Beer is a lot of fun, but to us this is more than about beer. Its helping people remember the great American dream, and what it has evolved to now, for each of us.
